Mahtomedi Basketball Association

In an effort to keep players focused on improving their basketball skills during the summer, the Mahtomedi Basketball Association is offering a special program that focuses on shooting.

Players in grades 1-8 have an opportunity to take part in and earn a spot in the 10,000 shot club.

To earn on spot in the Club, each player must take at least 10,000 shots over the course of the 2009 summer. Shots can be taken at home, a park or wherever you can find a hoop to shoot. Players are to
complete the attached registration form and mail it with parent’s signature, player’s signature and date. Shots are to be taken between May 15 and August 31, but players must register by May 31st to receive credit for shots taken in May. Starting in June, shots taken prior to registration do not count.

Each player who attempts 10,000 shot and submits their information will earn a spot in the MBA 10,000 Shot Club and receive a special 10,000 Shot Club T-Shirt.

2. Start shooting. Use the below form to log your shots. Mail your completed, signed form to
the above address or turn it in at the fall walk-in registration.

3. Receive your 10,000 Shot Club T-Shirt at the annual pre-season basketball jamboree which takes place in September (if you cannot attend the jamboree, please call Diane Moody to receive your T-Shirt).

This is a self reporting program based on the honor system. All forms must be signed by both a parent and player.
